KOVA Automotive Ceramic Tint
One film. Every shade. Uncompromising performance from 5% to 80% VLT.
Advanced Nano-Ceramic Technology
KOVA’s Nano Ceramic formula is built around a single principle: stop heat before it enters your vehicle. Unlike conventional tints that absorb heat and re-radiate it into your cabin, KOVA rejects infrared radiation directly at the glass, so your interior stays cooler from the first moment.
Blocks Heat Before It Enters
Infrared energy is rejected at the glass, not absorbed and re-radiated like conventional film.
99% UV Blockage
Blocks UV-A and UV-B rays to protect your skin and prevent interior fading.
Zero Metal, Zero Interference
Ceramic construction keeps GPS, cellular, Bluetooth, and key fobs working perfectly.
Deep True Black Finish
No blue or green hue, just a clean, bold, OEM-plus aesthetic.
Crystal Clear Optics
Precision-engineered layers deliver distortion-free visibility from inside out.
Elite Total Solar Rejection
TSER exceeds 60%, the benchmark for excellent ceramic film.
Choose Your Shade
KOVA performs at the highest level across the full VLT range. Your installer can help you choose the right shade for your vehicle, your style, and your state’s tint laws.
80%
Clear. Virtually invisible tint, primarily for UV protection and interior preservation.
70%
Nearly clear. High UV and IR protection with little to no visible tint. Meets most legal limits.
60%
Very light. Minimal darkening, mostly used for heat and glare reduction.
50%
Light tint. Subtle shading with solid heat and UV reduction.
40%
Medium. Light privacy with improved visibility, especially at night.
30%
Medium Dark. Noticeable tint with a good balance of privacy and outward visibility.
20%
Dark. Strong privacy while still allowing limited visibility from inside. Popular for SUVs and trucks.
15%
Very dark. High privacy with a bold, aggressive appearance.
5%
Limo Dark. Maximum privacy. Nearly impossible to see inside. Common for rear windows.
Understanding the Numbers
VLT (Visible Light Transmission)
Percentage of visible light passing through; lower means darker tint
TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejected)
Combined measure of UV, visible light, and infrared rejection; higher values indicate better performance
IRR (Infrared Rejection Rate)
Blocks heat causing infrared radiation, key for true ceramic tint effectiveness
NIR (Near-Infrared Rejection)
Targets near-infrared light responsible for heat felt through glass
UVR (UV Rejection)
Blocks 99% of harmful UV-A and UV-B rays to protect vehicle interior
VLR (Visible Light Reflectance)
Reflectance level affecting mirror like appearance; lower values offer a natural look
KOVA transformed my drive. I got in after the car sat in 95° heat and it felt like the AC had been running. The clarity is incredible, I didn’t realize how much my old tint was distorting my view.
